G-Dog Pro 4 Cylinder division remains a priority for the BullRing
Perry NY, Several years ago, G-DOG Dave Heimes and friends approached WCIS with an advanced set of rules to develop a Pro-Series of 4 Cylinder Racers. We were somewhat hesitant because of our past experience during the Mustang era of the 90’s, But the reality was… this isn’t the 90’s.

This new era of racecar is the transformation into a top division of competition. Drivers, crew and sponsors take this evolution seriously, and we began to see this almost immediately. WCIS supported the G-DOG Division with the best payout in the region… similar to the way we work with
our other flagship divisions… SST Modifieds and SST SuperStocks… We understand it takes money to build these machines and keep the teams coming back for every event.

When our Pro-Division takes to the 1/3rd mile BullRing, the fans can count on a great show. Fast, Competitive and the cars look amazing. We can see the pride in eyes of those who believe in what they are doing... And we believe we can still grow this 4-Cyl Division to continue to be the best in the region.

Dave became a remarkable promoter, getting support for big events and always including the fans with special give-a-ways and entertainment. Those in the racing community, know what the G-Dog Series stands for, and want to be a part of this growing trend. Just like GrampaDog wanted to be involved in local racing!

Wyoming County International Speedway “The BullRing” is committed to the future development of this elite group of G-DOG Pro 4-Cylinder racers. Most rules will remain the same with an emphasis on a DOT 50 Series 200 min. tread ware tire. Coil Over suspension is still being discussed, and we would be interested in hearing current team in-put. Graig Orr will be heading up
the Tech Team and Greg Hurlburt assisting with Safety. I can be reached directly via cell, as always, for those looking to make contact and suggestions.

In closing, to continue our support of RoC, WCIS will also incorporate the NEW RoC 4-Cyl rules into a NEW support division to the Pro-Cars. The RoC cars will run a separate race at the BullRing . We would encourage off series weekend visits to ‘Perry Speedway’ from RoC participants, to be ready for the 4 Race of Champions events scheduled at the BullRing for 2024.

Let’s make local racing great again, like prior to the pandemic. Support those who support local racing… Wherever you race, take pride in what you do. Treat your sponsors and competitors well
and most of all… lets have fun.
