The Shootout at the BullRing has been an icon of year end racing for 27 years. Crisp falls days in the country and the colors of autumn all around.
All at once, the green flag drops and the focus becomes the thunder of race cars…
2 days of competition, Friday night October 4th starts off the weekend with the WCIS championship night for all divisions. G-dog pro-4, 6-cylinder stock, 4-cylinder stock, SST Super stocks, SST Modifieds… and the classic Vintage Race cars. (Handicap for lineups, double points for both heats and feature race) Saturday October 5th the Race of Champions tour returns to the 1/3 rd. mile for some of the best super short track racing action our region has to offer. ROC Super Stocks, ROC FOAR Score Dash Series, ROC Sportsman and Race of Champions 602 Sportsman.
Free camping starts on Thursday October 3rd and runs till Sunday afternoon (October 6th ) Visit the Wyoming county area for a walk through Letchworth state park or a round of golf at The Club at Silver Lake.
A full fall schedule of regional asphalt racing begins this weekend at Chemung Speedrome “the night before the glenn” followed by ROC weekend at Lake Erie concluding Sunday with the 74th Annual Lucas Oil Race of Champions 250 and Lancaster 36th US Open weekend to round out September. Join us at Wyoming County International Speedway the first weekend of October for the Shootout at The BullRing.
